Who We Are:

Another Way of Life Inc. is a program for Black and Brown boys ages 8-23 that is designed to cultivate them into powerful, influential, educated, and empowered men.  We do this through a holistic program that infuses practical life skills, workforce development, mental health, conflict resolution, and mentorship into one dynamic hub that prepares them to be successful, functioning, and contributing members of society. 

 

Our Mission:

We exist to redefine success for Black and Brown boys by providing holistic programs designed to educate, empower, and prepare the student for adulthood.  Our curriculum and mentorship program provides these future scholars with the skills, tools, and knowledge to destroy the school to prison pipeline system.  

 

Our Program:

  • Life Skills: Understanding the skills necessary for success in everyday life

  • Manhood Preparation: Career development, resume editing, interview preparation

  • Conflict Resolution: Managing anger, understanding identity

Our Vision:

  • See Black boys succeed in life through obtaining skills for self sufficiency

  • Help young Black boys thrive in various industries
